Autumn on the farm is a season of well-worn busyness, a time of reaping and gathering, of sharing both work and harvest. The days are thick with the richness of what we've tended through summer’s long hours: pumpkins and squash, apples and garlic, each gathered in their time. From the Jam Shop, the scent of fresh pumpkin donuts mingles with the crisp, sweet tang of apple cider, pressing warmth into the coolness of the season. Here, the days are busy but rewarding; it’s a work that reminds us of what it means to belong to the land, to take part in the humble, timeless exchange between ground and hand. This is our season to share, to open the gate wide and welcome others into the bounty of the land.
Below, you'll find what’s available from our farm this fall.
Climb aboard our sturdy hay wagon and settle in as it rumbles through the orchards, carrying you through the heart of the farm. Along the way, you’ll see the land’s quiet workings and learn the stories held in each row, each tree, each field. The sights and sounds of the farm surround you, a reminder of the soil’s bounty and the care that brings it to life.
Who can resist the simple pleasure of feeding a gentle baby goat, feeling the soft fleece of a sheep, or watching a peacock proudly fan its feathers in a burst of color? Our petting zoo invites you to step into the quiet world of farm animals-where chickens peck the ground with their own small rhythms, and the contented grunts of fat pigs fill the air. Wander through, take your time, and get to know these creatures that are part of our farm's family.
Lose yourself in our winding tire maze, a delight for children aged 3 to 7, where each turn brings a new adventure. With plenty photos ops and straw mountain to climb, the day is full of small wonders and simple pleasures.
Twenty-five acres stretch wide, filled with over 30 varieties of pumpkins—each with its own shape, size, and color, from the traditional to the wonderfully edible. Our fields hold a harvest of quiet beauty, inviting you to wander and choose from nature’s full palette.
Begin by wandering through the orchard, choosing apples for your own cider blend, each with its own distinct flavor. Wash them, then grind and press them by hand at our cider press, watching the golden juice flow into jugs. When the work is done, the leftover apple mash returns to the earth’s circle, a treat tossed to the pigs who wait eagerly in the petting zoo, completing the cycle from orchard to farmyard.
Varieties include: Akane, Laura Red, Tydeman Red, Paula Red, Early Fuji, Lodi, Golden Delicious, Red Delicious, Jonathan, JonaGold, Spartan, Criterion, Winesap, Mutzu, Empire, Braeburn, Elstar, Gala, MacIntosh, HoneyCrisp, and Manchurian. Please note, apple varieties ripen at different times depending on the weather. Inquire with us to check if a specific apple is ready for harvest.
20 varieties of no spray winter squash are available all fall. U-picking not your jam? We also have picked squash by the bin load.

An old-fashioned playground with a touch of adventure—just risky enough to remind everyone of the good ole' childhood days.
Searching for a place to gather with family and friends? We offer two settings: a rustic pole barn nestled in the orchard or a 20x40 wedding-style tent by the Jam Shop, each inviting you to celebrate in the heart of our farm. For questions or to reserve a date, call us at 509-238-2830.
